Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Hashing?
Hashing is a social activity that combines running or walking with exploring trails, often through scenic or off-the-beaten-path areas. Participants, known as hashers, follow a trail marked with flour or chalk, usually laid out by a designated "hare." The goal is to reach the end of the trail, often involving some problem-solving or route-finding along the way. It's a mix of exercise, adventure, and socializing, often ending with a relaxed gathering where participants can enjoy refreshments and camaraderie.
